| Should be able to list where eyes, ears, nose are placed on their dog. |
| Everyone in Mighty Mites will place with a participation trophy. |
| Mini Mites do not declare a dog, this bracket is for participation only |

| Intermediate |
| Will be evaluated on proper ring procedure, following directions, knowledge of the dog, grooming of the dog, training and, handling of the dog. |
| Correct placement of the lead on the dog and in hand. |
| The handler must have the dog stacked, under control, and work as a team. |
| The handler should be prepared, courteous, confident and attentive. |
| The handler should not crowd the dog in front of them. |
| Handlers that use heavy-handedness or aggressiveness will be excused from the ring. |
| Placing for this group will be 1st -5th place |

| Senior Showmanship |
| Handlers will be evaluated on proper ring procedure, following directions, knowledge of herding breeds (outside of the breed being handled), grooming of the dog, training and handling of the dog. |
| The handler must have the dog stacked, under control and work as a team. |
| The handler must be alert to the judge's location. The dog must be between the judge and the handler at all times. |
| Correct placement of the lead on the dog and in hand. |
| The handler must be prepared for changes by the judge on ring presentation and progression of the class. |
| The handler should be prepared, courteous, confident and attentive. |
| The handler should not crowd the dog in front of them. |
| Handlers that use heavy-handedness or aggressiveness will be excused from the ring. |
